We had a great Christmas here. If you can call it Christmas with no snow or atleast freezing temperatures! It was just the 3 of us. (Technically 4!! Hee hee!)
Santa was good to us. Madison got a "baby alive". It's a doll that talks and blinks her eyes etc. She was ecstatic! 
I think the best gift we got though was that we had Carson for 5 days! He only had Sundays off, for the last 2 weeks before Christmas and they extended the store hours an additional hour too. He was definitely done with work and ready for a break. So we decided to do touristy things. We went to Hollywood and to Universal Studios.
It really was so much fun. It was a lot of walking, but we made it.
I have received several requests for "belly shots" of me, so this isn't me alone, but here are some where you can see me with all of us!
We are open to girl name suggestions if you have any, but there is no guarantee that we'll use them or that we won't laugh at them! (just kidding) But you have to remember that "Lee" is kind of a hard last name because with the wrong name it sounds like "-ly" ie. Mary Lee= Merrily. Also Brock is out for us. "Broccoli" you get the picture!
I am feeling the baby more and more every day. It's so fun. Even Carson and Madison have felt her move. The other day Madison said to a group of people "you know what my mom does at night?" I was instantly on my guard for what she might say! She said "She rubs her tummy". Phew! Not that I had anything to hide, but you never know what's going to come out of that innocent mouth!
Maddi is doing great and loving school. She is becoming quite the reader. Actually there is a really good example of just how good a reader she is!
Hopefully this is not offensive to anyone, but this is kind of a journal for me and I have to remember this!
We were driving and there was a filthy dirty semi truck in front of us. I am driving along and I can hear her sounding something out..."SH" I felt so proud of her for seeing a word and sounding it out. (does anyone see where this story is going?) Then I heard "i" ..."t". Then she slowly starts moving the sounds closer together and ends up saying it about three times to make sure that she got it. It was all I could do not to bust up laughing!! So smiling I said "yes honey, you did it, that's what it says! But you know what? That's kind of a yucky word so we better not say it K?" She said ok and we were back to singing. Meanwhile I was dying to call my mom, but had to wait till Maddi and I were not together!!
