The Lees with their quarterly update!! Geez I'm pathetic!! = )

So I just looked at our blog and I am truly embarrassed about my blog! So much has changed!! Maddi and I have chopped our hair, Laynee's is growing longer and she's a toddler not a baby!

Most importantly Madison was baptized November 6, 2010! It was a wonderful and very spiritual experience. My parents were here. Madison sang "If the Savior stood beside me". She did such a great job. I stopped asking her if she's nervous before she sings somewhere because I always get the same answer "no, why should I be?" That's my girl!

I love this picture with Laynee looking up at her big sister. If you look at it bigger it is so cute!!

Afterward we went to "Bucca Di Beppo" a fabulous Italian restaurant, YUM!

She is such a ham! If there is an audience she'll dance and pose!! She has such a cute little personality!!

We went to visit the San Diego Temple and it was of course beautiful. The weather was perfect. We were in shorts in November!
We would sing "I love to see the ____" and laynee would sing "Temple". It was so cute!

My parents visit-San Diego Wild Animal Park

So my parents came to visit because my dad had a seminar in Los Angeles and ya can't come so close without a visit!
One day we went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It's kind of like the Zoo, but it's animals are specific to Africa. It's really fun. Here are some pictures:

Family Christmas Pictures?

So Christmas pictures in July?(Almost) Yes. I realized that I never posted our family pictures here. I sent some of you Christmas cards that had a couple of them on it, but here are some more. They are so cute and so "California-ey". Maddi is a recent 7 and Laynee is only 6 months old here and she's 14 months now. I'll update soon.

This is my FAVORITE picture!! My girls are too cute!!

Catch you all up

So according to complaints, apparently it's not okay to blog every 3-4 months! Ok, whiners, here you go! = )

So instead of going to Washington for Christmas or new years because Carson couldn't get time off(busy season) We decided to stay here and do touristy stuff. We went to the Santa Monica pier. It's the pier that's in all the movies and songs etc... It was SO much fun!
This is the view from the top of the Ferris Wheel. The view was incredible!
They had all kinds of rides and restaurants. They had face painting, arcades, and the 2 things we did were a sculpture of the girls' faces and the art where they make pictures into the letters of your name. That's the best I can describe it. Here are some pictures.

This is the girls trying to hold so still for the guy!

Here we are on the ferris wheel. It was an incredible view from the top in all directions!

I didn't realize that the Santa Monica Pier was the end of Route 66. That was fun to learn about!

We spent the night in LA and the next morning we went from Newport beach on a tiny little ferry to Balboa Island. The ferry held 3 cars max. and about 15 people seated around them. So CUTE!

and went on a whale watching boat tour. It was SO fun. We didn't actually see any whales, but tons of Dolphins and Sea Lions. It was really fun.

Both girls had a blast!

On the way home we passed through the city of "Carson"and there was a sign of Carson St. We had to take a picture!

Here are some fun pictures for you! Laynee was about 8 months old. Maddi is 7.

If Maddi had her way we would always be like this!

Laynee's new favorite place to play. She screams if you take her out!

This is in a Costco bin of pillows!

So I will give you more pics soon, but here are some to tide you over for now.
