8 years and counting!

Yesterday was our 8th anniversary. Woo Hoo!
It happen to be Carson's day off too. While Madison was at school we decided to go on a day date. We went to the USS Midway. It's a huge ship (aircraft carrier) that is docked in San Diego and is opened for tours.
It is amazing. They have one of every kind of aircraft that had ever landed on it while it was at Sea. You can go up on the flight deck and also climb into a lot of the planes and helicopters.

It's been turned into a museum. Each person gets a headset and a map and you go on a self guided tour. We listened to former pilots of the planes and helicopters talk about experiences while flying that specific aircraft and also of being on the midway. We toured the ship's "brig" or their prison cells. They were small cells some were private, some had 8 bunks to a cell. They were also at the bottom of the ship, so not much fresh air.
This is a cute statue of a Marine or a naval officer returning. It's really cute.

We ate lunch here aboard the USS Midway. It doesn't look that far up, but we ate on a table on the edge and looking over the edge is quite a drop! It's not as far up as the top flight deck, but high enough for eating lunch!!

Well nothing much to report except that I am getting fatter each day and Madison is dropping teeth like no one's business! So I thought I'd put up another picture taken by Madison actually! She does a pretty good job at centering etc. I am 30 weeks and cannot imagine 10 more weeks of growing and this is when she's going to double and maybe triple her weight depending on how big she gets! Aagh! What I am not looking forward to is the feet in the ribs routine. With Madison, her feet were always up in my ribs and it hurt so badly. The doctor said that I could "fight back" and gently push her feet down/out. So we'll see if this baby tortures me too! She does move a lot, but it's so cool! So far so good.

Madison lost tooth #4 and I laughed so hard when she did. Well we were at the bank and it was my turn. Next to the tellers they have a little table and chairs for kids with paper and crayons. While she's over coloring, I get called to the next teller. As we're talking, I get tapped and hear "here mom" and Madison hands me a bloody tooth. It was so random and it struck me funny, I just laughed and laughed. Instead of Maddi saying "mom, look what happened" or "I lost a tooth", she just says , "here mom". She's so sweet, so now her "s's" sound like a snake and it makes her look so old.
