Halloween, Thanksgiving, Cory & Lindsay's visit, Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Happy Halloween!! Maddi was a Veterinarian, Laynee was a princess and I was a medical something!
We had so much fun making Halloween sugar cookies! The girls used bat, witch and moons cutters. I'm pretty sure that Laynee had the most fun though!!

Thanksgiving was really fun, we went to our friends house and they have a huge tree house, roosters and golf carts to ride all over their property! So fun.

My brother Cory, his wife Lindsay and daughter Brooklyn came to visit us just after Thanksgiving. I loved it. One thing we did was go to the San Diego Zoo.
At one point I had all 3 girls in my stroller! It was great.

Laynee was just smitten with Cory. She freaked out and started calling his name if she couldn't see him! He was pretty smitten as well.

If any of you are Harry Potter fans, you'll notice that this is "Buckbeak". (According to Madison!)

Laynee hid in the legs of the elephant replica! She likes to wedge herself in little places. It's so funny!!
We loved having you guys, thanks for coming!!

On to Christmas! We went to get a tree and again had so much fun. Home Depot actually had great trees, so we went there. The girls loved the orange carts that they never get to ride in.

Madison started piano this December and at her first lesson, her teacher asked her to play a song in their recital in 2 weeks. So Madison learned and memorized "Away in a Manger" in 2 weeks and played it perfectly!! We are so proud of her.

We went to Seattle to be with my family for Christmas by Carson's request. Laynee went to my mom's pantry and the first thing she found was the "hot cake" mix. That's what she calls it. She was so excited!! She loves it when I make pancakes, so she HAD to bring it to show me!

We went to the Seattle temple to walk around and Maddi wanted to see where mom and dad got married. She thinks it's so romantic! Oh brother! It was wonderful to walk around the temple almost 10 years after we were married with our two sweet girls.

On Christmas Eve, my brother Dan, wife Marci, sons Braden and Brock arrived and we of course had to act out the manger scene. Carson read parts of Luke 2 and they acted it out. Madison was Mary, Braden was Joseph and Brock was a shepherd and Danny was of course the Donkey. It was so cute. Laynee took it upon herself to climb into the manger with baby Jesus.

Well Santa Made it. It was a fun morning and the girls couldn't have been happier. Madison asked Santa for an American Girl Doll. Yikes! Laynee got a tickle me Elmo because she is obsessed with him at the moment.

Oh, my beautiful ladies in their Christmas dresses!

On New Years Eve we had so much food, Karaoke and games. Again, SO much fun. Thanks mom and dad for hosting such a fun fun visit!!

This is just a random picture of my sweet baby "helping" mommy bake. Notice the tippy toes!

Oh Kandi ... I was just looking through all of your pictures ... seeing how big the girls are getting ... think how EVERYTHING CHANGES ... and then I saw Danny as the Donkey.

And I take it all back.

I can't believe how much Laynee looks like Maddi! That is how I remember her and now she is such a little beauty. Glad that you guys are doing well. One of these days I am going to make it down to San Diego and see you!
