Rest of Christmas, Julian, Valentine's Day, Our 10 year anniversary, Hawaii, Carson quits work-starts school, Laynee's potty training & 2nd birthday!!

Phew! I'm tired just thinking about the title! I believe in lots of pictures, so this won't be too boring. Here are a few Christmas pictures I couldn't leave out.
Laynee and my mom, Cindy

Madison at glow in the dark bowling!

Laynee's first snow! Maddi hadn't seen snow for 3 years!

Laynee got a "tickle me Elmo" for Christmas from Santa

I think this is my Gingerbread house. I cant remember, Carson's is much better!

All the cute men, feeding their babies! Darren, Carson and Cory

This is Carson's "gingerbread house". It's a lighthouse in Pemaquid, Maine. It's where his great, great...grandpa arrived from England on the ship "The Angel Gabriel". It actually sunk in the harbor before it could land because of a hurricaine and his grandpa survived!

In January we went to the San Diego Zoo and Laynee is obsessed with the Panda and Koala bears!

Also in January we went to Disneyland while daddy was off on a business trip to Maui. Rough life huh?

Daddy being goofy...AGAIN!!

We went to a town in little tourist town in the mountains here. It's about an hour and a half away. It is so cute and small. We had to go on a carraige ride.

Well, in our home we like to teach them young to pray!! Isn't that adorable??!! She did this on her own. No one else was praying with her.

Maddi says she looks like a Koala bear in this picture!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!

They were cuddling asleep, but I woke her up by turning on the camera, oops!

Happy "ValentiMes day!! Laynee shouted that for about 3 days!

Our trip to Maui, Hawaii!!! Laynee rode like this through 2 airports. People loved it. I stood close by cuz carson was driving crazy, it was freaking me out, but she never fell off and those are the roles right? The dad is required to be fun and crazy with the kids and the moms are required to freak out and say "Be careful with my baby!!"
The girls have recently become obsessed with Disney's "Tangled". Oh who am I kidding, we all LOVE it at our house. Yes Carson too!

This trip to Maui was a combination of our 10 year anniversary and a Jewelry buy. We just couldn't leave our kids for a week, so we asked my parents to come and we were able to leave now and again to have some anniversary time. We had so much fun. It was Carson's idea to ask them to come. I am very lucky that my husband and my parents get along so well.

On our honeymoon we came here 10 years ago. We went to "Cheeseburger in Paradise". The food is incredible, but it was literally over the ocean and they have a live singer every night. My dad paid them to play a romantic song for us. Thanks dad. Here are some pix

Also on our honeymoon we drove the famous "road to Hana". It's this super windy, over cliffs, scary drive that lasts atleast 5 hours and most people get nauseus at some point!

Half way through the drive there is a church building and we stopped and ate a pineapple. So 10 years later, we drove it again and had our 2 sweet little monkeys with us and another one on the way!

I AM 4 MONTHS PREGNANT IN THESE PICTURES (for the record)

Carson had just made me laugh in this picture. I hate it, but its sentimental, so I have to post it....

Gorgeous Hana pictures. This is a really awesome waterfall. So tempting that Carson and my dad stripped down and jumped into it!

These are the famous 7 pools. This is only 2 of them. There's no way to get all of them in the same shot-atleast from the ground!

There was a huge Banyon tree in Lahaina. It is so cool. It is all one tree with branches and roots. It grows, and when the branches land on the ground it grows roots and shoots up again. It has many trunks and roots all over this park. It's great!

We chose one big thing to do together while in Hawaii for our anniversary. We went on a helicoptor ride. Neither of us had ever been. It was such a rush! It was so beautiful. We saw places that you can only get to by helicoptor. Beautiful.

A beautiful black beach!! (Very windy)

Sunday after Church.

We got stuck in a tropical rainstorm when we were trying to snorkel. Luckily we had our lunch and camped out in the cars till it passed. It was actually so much fun.

Carson, Madison and I went on a snorkel trip. Maddi learned how to snorkel on this trip. She did so well and was so brave.
It was so fun, but I get motion sick, and for the first time in my life I threw up on the boat! Yes, me. I never have nor thought I ever would, but I did. I was so embarrassed, but it was only Carson and Madison who saw. Most people had already gotten off to snorkel. We rode with TONS of dolphins. They love big boats because they ride the waves that the boats create, so they go right along side of boats. The staff said that there were 30-50 dolphins even though we only saw about 20.

That brings us to Potty Training!! Of her own doing, a week before her second birthday Laynee decided she didn't want to wear diapers anymore! So, I went along. She is doing GREAT!! After a couple of weeks she was done with the little potty and only goes in the big one. So smart. I carry extra underwear and pants with us everywhere we go, but she hasn't had an accident in public yet. Wahoo. So that makes life easier for when the baby comes to only have one in diapers. Thanks Laynee!!

It was a tradition with maddi to have a cake on her first day of school saying "Happy first day of school Madison" so when Carson went back to school, we had to get one for him too!

Here's the story. He has dreamed for as long as I've known him (12 years) to go to "The Gemological Institute of America". (GIA) It's the highest degree of education you can get in his field. He started in the end of April and will be done in the end of October. It's only 6 months, but they say it's so intense and they pack so much into those 6 months that you can't have a job. So Carson quit his job of 3 years here and started school.

Laynee loves "Dora the explorer" and so she strapped herself to her booster chair and said it is her backpack. Dora has backpack that talks.

Madison has a concert called "The Garden Show" at her school. The whole second grade has been studying plants and insects found in gardens. They learned songs about soil and bees etc. It was really cute. The kids all dressed up as things from the garden and Madison was assigned to represent "Spring" so they gave her a hat with flowers that Laynee really liked!

"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters..."

My baby turned 2!!! How did that happen so fast??!! The cake was a castle that kinda fell apart before I could frost it. : (
