So I am turning out to be a terrible liar. I need to get these Halloween pictures out and then it will be Carson and I's birthday November 11th. Excuses, excuses, but I will work on our FUN, FUN time out east. So we had a great Halloween this year. First of all we have 2 black cats, that always makes a Halloween complete.

We carved Pumpkins for family night and Madison and I made cats. It was great. Mine turned out, let's just say not symmetrical. Carson's was of course a perfect "Mr. Yuck".

Madison asked Carson to help her with hers and the whole time she kept saying "No dad you have to do it like this. Do you want me to show you?" She's 5 going on 15!

She dressed up as Genevieve from Barbie's 12 Dancing Princesses. She was so beautiful.

Here in Deer Park they do this thing called "Pumpkin Lane".

All of the businesses in the city give out candy. We even got to meet and get candy from Ronald McDonald! We went with Susan's sister Jane's kids, Mikell, Brian, Marielle and Peter.

We just love having family so close!

They had free hay rides to transport people, but Madison and I walked a couple of miles that day!!
That was on Saturday and this year Halloween was on a Wednesday. Madison left her costume in the car and Carson took it to work and was meeting us to go Trick or treating later so we had to come up with an alternate costume. Lucky for her, this child lives to dress up, so she went as a bride.

We also went to a buffet. If children dress up they eat for free. So we went with Carson's brother Brandon, his wife Sheila and their sweet children. They also had face painting so all of the girls got a sparkly butterfly.
Well that pretty much sums up our Halloween in the sticks, we loved every minute!
